Since 2013 Leeds has had its very own entertainment arena, known as the First Direct Arena. Built in a unique Super Theatre Style, the acoustics are great and the visibility from all seats is better than normal style arenas. Leeds also has a very strong theatre heritage, with the Grand Theatre and Leeds Playhouse, as well as a number of smaller venues. Northern Ballet is also based in the city.

Cost of living in Leeds

Housing is often the most expensive living cost. Whilst Leeds is a major city, it still has a lot of affordable housing in or near the city centre and in leafy suburbs that surround Leeds.
