Winston Solicitors are a firm which offers the expertise and efficiency of a modern city centre practice in very pleasant surroundings in its offices on Street Lane in Roundhay, North Leeds.

There are ten solicitors, three partners with a total of 25 staff who offer a comprehensive range of legal services, all featured on our web site.

Our team can also help with collaborative law which provides a more dignified and straightforward method of dealing with marital or children disputes.

We are a firm of UK solicitors based in Leeds West Yorkshire regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We provide a range of legal services and are currently training and developing our team to deal with the fast changing areas of law.

We are pleased to announce that we are now an APIL ACCREDITED PERSONAL INJURY SOLICITORS PRACTICE.

In November 2007 Winston Solicitors were recognised in a national accreditation scheme designed to assist injured people seeking legal advice. The scheme operated by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) provides a quality "kitemark" to those firms that meet a strict criteria. Our lawyers can assist with many different types of personal injury claims including industrial disease claims.

Lasting Power of Attorney & The Mental Capacity Act 2005

The Mental Capacity Act 2005 has introduced important changes which affect decision making for the incapacitated. It introduces a new Lasting Power of Attorney which will replace the existing Enduring Power of Attorney, these will now be available from 1 October 2007. Parts of the Act came into force on 1 April 2007 including the introduction of a new criminal offence of ill treatment or wilful neglect.
