Hot off the press, the final calendar featuring winning entries from children and young people from the Leeds Community is now on sale! Earlier in the year, St Gemma’s Hospice and Winston Solicitors launched a 2013 calendar competition, which was open to all children and young people across Leeds.
The winning pictures were chosen by a panel of three comprising of Kerry Jackson, Chief Executive at
St Gemma’s Hospice, Chris Sheldrake, winner of the 2011 St Gemma’s art exhibition ‘best in show’, and Jonathan Winston, Managing Partner of Winston Solicitors.
Jonathan Winston, along with Tara Greatorex from St Gemma’s, visited some of the winners at John Jamieson School in Oakwood. They presented the children with a certificate along with the calendars. The children and staff at the school were delighted to have won and proud to be able to help
St Gemma’s raise funds through the sale of the calendar.
All profits from the sale of the calendar will support local people who are facing a terminal illness. The calendar is available to purchase from the St Gemma’s gift shop at the Hospice, via their on-line Christmas card brochure or email Tara Greatorex
