Fabulous fun at the 4th annual quiz in aid of Leeds Mencap

There was a full house at the Winston Solicitors 4th Annual Quiz in aid of Leeds Mencap. 16 teams tested their knowledge against quiz extraordinaire Paul Grindley’s questions. Each year Paul introduces a new twist to keep the teams on their toes. There was also the appearance of previous favourites in play such as the Joker and swap questions, so there were plenty of chances to grab some extra points.

Local businesses kindly donated plenty of prizes for the raffle too including Fanoosh meal voucher, Share gift voucher, Avenue2Beauty voucher, champagne, chocolates and perfume.

Old Leo’s rugby club in Alwoodley kindly provided the venue for the event for the 4th year running.

Judging from the feedback from everyone involved, the quiz was a great success, not only for those who attended and had a great evening, but also for Leeds Mencap, who will receive a four figure donation towards their Apprentice Challenge fundraising initiative.
