Sponsored firewalk smashes target

Charity update: Three months on, after 30 brave participants walked across a bed of fire, all the sponsor money has been counted. Winston Solicitors, along with 10 other businesses, wanted to raise £10,000 for St Gemma’s Hospice, Leeds. Everyone hoped the sponsored Firewalk would ignite plenty of interest to ensure their friends, family and colleagues all dug deep. Thankfully, everyone rose to the challenge. The target was smashed, with a whopping £12,763.36 being raised for the charity.

“We’re still talking about the Firewalk.” comments Jonathan Winston. ”The participants are still feeling the benefit from such a motivational experience, and of course, St Gemma’s are thrilled with such a fantastic amount of money being raised.”
