Walkers are all heart

A team of family and friends from Winston Solicitors, including those with four legs, recently took part in the 24th annual sponsored walk for the Take Heart charity which raises funds for The Yorkshire Heart Centre in Leeds.

Take Heart was founded in 1989 and has raised nearly three million pounds to fund projects at Leeds General Infirmary and St James Hospital and its other units within the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As well as purchasing medical equipment the charity strives to ensure that patients and their families enjoy the very best of comfort at the Yorkshire Heart Centre.

This year the annual fundraiser was sponsored by Winston Solicitors LLP, Boost Drinks Ltd, and The City Press Leeds Ltd.
