Which park would you recommend in Leeds?

Recommendations have become common place in today's on-line world. Even before the internet (remember those days?) word of mouth recommendations were known to be the strongest form of advertising out there. It is now so easy to find a good restaurant when you're visiting a new area or search for the best place to buy a new car. When we came across the Yorkshire Evening Post's recent question in their #Leedsrecommends section we just had to respond.

They asked: name your favourite park or green space in Leeds.

And our answer? Roundhay Park of course. It is literally a four minute walk from our office (we're very lucky). The largest public space in Europe is also home to a fantastic collection of tropical birds, fish and plants quite rightly named as Tropical World. There's also the Alhambra Gardens, where you could be forgiven for thinking that you're in Spain, not North Leeds. We commented that there's something for everyone at Roundhay Park.

If you decide to take up our recommendation we'd love to know if you agree.
