It’s a ‘Win Win’ time in Roundhay

Three Roundhay residents were recently presented with prizes following their correct entries being drawn in a quiz run by Winston Solicitors The ‘How Yorkshire Are You?’ Quiz invited participants to identify four local landmarks - The Mansion at Roundhay Park, Leeds Town Hall, Oakwood Clock and Harewood House.

Jonathan Winston, Managing Partner at Winston Solicitors met the prize winners to present vouchers from local restaurants. A delighted Mrs Allen, who won the first prize of £100 San Carlo Flying Pizza voucher, promptly decided to use it for her daughter’s 30th birthday celebration. The second prize of £50 Dine At The Mansion voucher was won by retiree Mr Cooper who looked forward to enjoying a meal there with his wife. Third prize of £25 Haley & Clifford voucher went to Rebecca Nicholas.

The response from local residents took Winston Solicitors by surprise. One entrant commented “What a fascinating advert, recognisable venues of my wonderful childhood memories”.
