Not your average solicitors :) Samantha our conveyancer was very friendly and responsive from start to finish. Leasa Foster of Winstons was efficient and very thorough in her scrutiny of the lease and patient with me when I was slow in understanding how to transfer large sums of money. My ony criticism is that she did not consult me before telling the other side she would advise me to withdraw if they did not do a Deed of Variation. I felt this made me vulnerable because I was a tenant in that flat and could have been evicted in three months. But otherwise, excellent work.

I recently used Winston Solicitors for the sale of my house. They maintained regular communication throughout, and the quoted cost was maintained, with no hidden extras. I was very happy with the service, and they have a great relationship with Cornerstone, whom I sold my house with, so everyone was always in the loop. I would highly recommend, and would not hesitate to use this local business again. Incidently I used an online cost comparison website initially, and contacted 2 companies that were at the top for the cheapest price.... Im still waiting for them to get back to me months later! So a cheaper national company is not always better, Ill always go local from now, it was also very convenient for me to be able to drive to the office in Leeds, and drop off important paperwork.
