I've recently sold my former marital home and my late mum's property. Sam was the only conveyancer I've used who a) usually answered the phone herself when I rang, rather than go to voicemail and b) always responded to emails within 24 hours. I was buying a property on my own, and it was nice to have Sam reassuring me along the way that I was up to date with no outstanding tasks, and keeping me apprised of progress - not like other, cheaper conveyancers I've used. Winston Solicitors were recommended by my mortgage broker. And were about £300 more expensive than the ones I'd used as a seller. But the extra expense was worth the ease of the experience. Until you've rung your solicitor daily, and emailed twice a day, with no response (as I had to do for one property), you soon realise that a few extra pounds is worth the superior service. I would thoroughly recommend Winstons - and Sam in particular - to anyone seeking a conveyancer. The thing that really clinched it was how excited she was to tell me I'd completed and that the house was mine. It showed how emotionally invested she was. Professional, but with a heart.
