Hannah Morris
Hannah Morris is a specialist Continuing Healthcare lawyer at Winston Solicitors. She assists individuals and their families in securing NHS Continuing Healthcare funding, helping them access the care and support they are legally entitled to during what are often difficult and highly stressful circumstances. Her work includes advising on eligibility for NHS funding, challenging decisions where funding has been refused or withdrawn and representing clients through assessments and appeals. With a clear understanding of the complexities of the Continuing Healthcare system, she is committed to ensuring that clients are treated fairly and that unjust decisions are robustly challenged.
With over fifteen years’ experience supporting families with Continuing Healthcare claims, she has secured funding for many individuals, both retrospectively and for those currently in care. She has also played a key role in building teams and training others in this specialist area of law. While these achievements are significant, she considers the individual outcomes for clients to be her most meaningful successes, recognising the profound difference funding can make to families.
She particularly enjoys meeting a wide range of people and values the opportunity to provide reassurance, clarity and support at times when clients may feel overwhelmed by the system. Hannah often reminds clients that while it can feel unjust to have to fight for funding, the real unfairness is paying for care when legally they should not have to.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her young son. A keen outdoor enthusiast, she spends as much time outside as possible. She is also an enthusiastic snowboarder and plays rugby at weekends, admitting that her enthusiasm currently exceeds her ability.
