We were well informed at every stage of the purchase of our home. Phone calls were answered as opposed to going to voicemail by default. Our solicitor was exceedingly courteous, thoughtful and helpful, even when we maybe weren't!

I was very pleased with Sidraa's work on my conveyancing. Everything was made very clear, which was extra helpful as I was a first time buyer. The tracking app which she updated as well as sending emails was a nice way to get an overview of progress and next steps. Everything went smoothly and Sidraa was always happy to answer my questions and always got back to me within a day.

I've recently sold my former marital home and my late mum's property. Sam was the only conveyancer I've used who a) usually answered the phone herself when I rang, rather than go to voicemail and b) always responded to emails within 24 hours. I was buying a property on my own, and it was nice to have Sam reassuring me along the way that I was up to date with no outstanding tasks, and keeping me apprised of progress - not like other, cheaper conveyancers I've used. Winston Solicitors were recommended by my mortgage broker. And were about £300 more expensive than the ones I'd used as a seller. But the extra expense was worth the ease of the experience. Until you've rung your solicitor daily, and emailed twice a day, with no response (as I had to do for one property), you soon realise that a few extra pounds is worth the superior service. I would thoroughly recommend Winstons - and Sam in particular - to anyone seeking a conveyancer. The thing that really clinched it was how excited she was to tell me I'd completed and that the house was mine. It showed how emotionally invested she was. Professional, but with a heart. A solid reliable performance in the sale of my house. The only reason I've not given 5 stars is that in comparison with the last time I sold a house it was a very complex process. However, the last time I sold a house was nearly 30 years ago and it may well be the case that the legal hoops that one is required or expected to jump through have become a lot more complex over those years.

I was recommended Winston Solicitors by the estate agent. Whenever there was anything to report, they did so. Any questions I had were responded to pretty swiftly. Additionally, if I wanted to find out if there had been any change in the status of the sale, I could log on to In Touch to find out.
