Three people gathered for an unusual afternoon at the offices of Winston Solicitors in Roundhay. A colourful array of artwork covered the large boardroom table which is more used to lending itself to papers and files. Earlier in the year, St Gemma’s Hospice and Winston Solicitors launched a 2013 calendar competition, which was open to all children and young people across Leeds.
Each entry depicted a different month to compete for a place in the 2013 calendar. The winning pictures were chosen by a panel of three comprising of Kerry Jackson, Chief Executive at St Gemma’s Hospice, Chris Sheldrake, winner of the 2011 St Gemma’s art exhibition ‘best in show’, and Jonathan Winston, Managing Partner of Winston Solicitors.
The calendar is being officially launched at the St Gemma’s Annual ‘Art Exhibition and Sale’, which is being held at The Grammar School at Leeds from 25 - 28 October, when the winners will also be presented with their entry. The calendar is available to purchase for £5 each from the St Gemma’s gift shop at the Hospice or via their Christmas card brochure. Watch this space to see the winners and their pictures!

Good communication, clear emails, good attention to detail reacted quickly to problems.. We have used twice now and would certainly use her again as a convincing solicitor. Much better than other we have used in the past.

The service from Sam and Paolo has been exceptional - timely, responsive and efficient through a highly stressful house purchase (no fault of theirs!) and we would highly recommend them both to anyone!

He was exteremely helpful and understanding. James provided an indepth analysis and assesssment and was present at the appeal to assist me and advocate for my mother.
