We asked the 40+ team to see how much, what and where we all support and use our local community.

Winston Solicitors supporting our local community

Fun facts and interesting stats* that surfaced following a staff questionnaire. The Winston Solicitors head office is located on Street Lane in Roundhay, which is a busy hub with a vibrant community.

This is what we uncovered about the Winston Solicitors team:

  1. There are 20 pets between us and a few dogs have been known to visit the office!
  2. From 1 years upwards, we have 45 children who go to 12 different local schools. We are fortunate to provide flexible working for families including accommodating sports day, school plays and the important transition moments.
  3. A good work life balance is encouraged which shows with our 55 different hobbies that range from swimming to netball and chess to amateur dramatics! Clearly we’re an active bunch who like a touch of competition.
  4. When asked about which charities we all support and the number was staggering as the team are involved with over 120 different charities which translates to having personally given over £30,000 to those charities.
  5. We volunteer in over 25 different ways from marshalling at Park Runs to holding positions on charity committee’s plus helping at school PTA’s and being a brownie leader.

Client feedback

The conveyancing team, led by Samantha Robertson-Strong have been excellent in guiding us through both the sale and purchase of our houses. Always communicative and happy to explain aspects of the process. Highly recommend.

Amanda and the entire Winston Solicitors team were exceptional from start-to-finish. As our 'point person' on my father's personal injury case (and not being in any way legally minded ourselves), Amanda guided us effortlessly through the requirements, evidence & documentation needed along the way, and timelines with different possible outcomes (never overstated, just refresgingly honest). My dad (at the time 88 but by settlement approaching 90) was kept in the loop at all times, able to make decisions for himself due to the professionalism and care of Amanda.Would highly recommend Amanda and the Winston team - really impressed.

Olivia Cooke and her team provided an excellent service throughout our property sale. The team were efficient, clear, and kept us well informed at every stage. The conveyancing process was handled smoothly and professionally. Highly recommended Winston Solicitors. We were particularly impressed with our conveyancing assistant, Amanda Lester, who kept us updated and made the process a great experience!

I just dealt with Leasa in the recent purchase of my first home. Can not recommend her. Fast, efficient and has an eye on everything. Managed to get me from offer accepted to moving in less than 11 weeks.

The whole process of sorting out my wife's estate and a lasting power of atorney was made a relatively easy to understand process because the team we dealt with spoke to us in an easy to understand language. They also acted quickly at every stage as well as always keeping us updated if there were any delays.
