A Leeds solicitor has been chosen as one of four delegates from Junior Chamber International (JCI) to attend its prestigious European Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden later this year.

Anil Champaneri, an employment solicitor at Winston Solicitors of Roundhay, is currently the deputy president of JCI Leeds; one of the largest junior chambers in the UK. He was also voted its best new member in 2008 and won the best council director award for his work with the chamber last year.

JCI is a worldwide network of young leaders and entrepreneurs with over 250,000 members in over 100 countries. Past members include Kofi Annan, Bill Clinton and Bill Gates.

Anil said: “I am delighted to be attending the 14th European Academy as part of my preparation to be president of JCI Leeds in 2011. It will be a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable training and meet fellow JCI members from across Europe”.

The JCI European Academy is a four day training course which aims to increase the understanding and cooperation between future leaders of JCI from different countries by creating a forum of representatives from all over Europe where an exchange of experiences, knowledge, culture and values can take place.

Client feedback

As a first time solo buyer, I had no idea what I was doing with buying a house. Samantha at Winston Solicitors was incredible, her and her team explained everything and everytime I had a question (which was often) they responded quickly and in a way that was easy to explain. Using Winston Solicitors made the house buying process so easy and quick, from the initial viewing of the house to completion, it was only 12 weeks! After hearing horror stories of a long buying process, I couldn't be more happy to have worked with an amazing company! If you are looking for a solicitor for your house purchase, I would highly recommend Winston Solicitors!

Leasa was incredibly professional, thorough, and proactive throughout the entire process. She kept us informed at every stage, explained everything clearly, and always responded quickly to our questions — no matter how small.Buying a house can be stressful, but Leasa made the whole journey smooth and straightforward. Very handy as a local north Leeds firm, no need to travel to Leeds. Understood exactly what we required and prepared the documents carefully and quickly. Kept us informed as to progress throughout. I would recommend them for any private client work.
