First initial consultation for family law

We offer a free telephone consultation to discuss your circumstances and provide general guidance on how we can assist, and the costs involved.

Divorce/Dissolution proceedings: £150.00-300.00 + vat*

*court fee applicable or fee remission waiver / other costs may be involved which we will agree with you in advance

Change of Name Deed: £100.00 + vat

Cohabitation Agreement; Nuptial Agreement; Separation Agreement: £variable depending on complexity + vat**

**fee will be fixed upon initial consultation

Advice Package: 1 hour consultation – we offer a reduced fee for the first hour of time spent at £175.00 plus VAT (total £210)

Comprehensive legal assistance:

After our initial consultation we will assist you throughout your case and take you through the proceedings until conclusion. We will charge at our hourly rate but will endeavour where possible to place financial caps on each stage of the process.

Tailored fixed fee packages:

Sometimes you simply need a helping hand with a particular task that the court or other party may require you to do, without engaging legal assistance for the whole process. In such circumstances, we can assist and tailor packages specifically for you, with a cost estimate for each matter you require assistance with.

This could be for example:

• Preparation of a statement
• Application Forms
• Drafting a Financial Order
• Completion of a Form E
• Court Bundle Preparation

Following our initial consultation, we will fix a fee to assist with this task and a deadline in which to complete this.
